Beta status
The WotLK beta has started! Keys are being handed out! The current level cap is set to 80 and Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, Grizzly Hills, Sholazar Basin, Zul'Drak, and Lake Wintergrasp are open.

Death knights

The death knight is a classic unit/class which first appeared in Warcraft II and Warcraft III. It was later adapted as a prestige class within the Warcraft RPG (Alliance & Horde Compendium and Dark Factions). It will be the first hero class in World of Warcraft, set to be introduced in the new expansion, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. WoWWiki is a wiki dedicated to cataloguing Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft Universe (with a focus, though not priority, on World of Warcraft), covering the entire Warcraft series of games, RPG reference books, strategy guides, novels and other sources. However, this is not Wikipedia, and we have slightly different ways of doing things.

Featured article
It was an adventure game in the same style as Monkey Island and other classic LucasArts and Sierra adventure games. The graphics were all hand-drawn and cell-animated, and then scanned into the game. It was not produced in-house by Blizzard, though Blizzard artists were consulted.
The game had the tagline "An Adventure Game in the World of WarCraft", and it was cancelled before completion.
